Refund and Return Policy

At iSmart Lebanon, we strive to provide the highest quality technical hardware, networking equipment, and smart home solutions. We understand that issues can occasionally arise, and we have established this comprehensive policy to ensure transparent, fair, and streamlined resolution protocols for both buyers and third-party merchants.

1. Scope of Eligibility

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are strictly limited and are only authorized under the following two conditions:

  A. Dead on Arrival (DOA)

Items that are verified as defective, non-functional, or completely inoperable upon immediate unboxing are classified as DOA and qualify for an exchange or refund.

  B. Product Inconsistency (Incorrect Model)

If the item delivered does not match the exact manufacturer model specified in your order confirmation, it is subject to a full return.

 Exclusion: Delivery and logistics charges are strictly non-refundable.

 Software Version Clause: Minor variations in pre-installed firmware, stock software applications, or hardware operating versions introduced by upstream suppliers do not constitute a "Product Inconsistency." If the core hardware model matches the specifications ordered, it is not eligible for return under this clause.

2. Return Conditions & Criteria

To qualify for an authorized return and subsequent financial reimbursement, the item must strictly meet the following structural benchmarks:

 The product must remain completely unopened, sealed in its factory shrink-wrap, and in the exact condition in which it was received.

 The product must be enclosed within its original, undamaged manufacturer packaging box along with all included documentation, manuals, and accessories.

 A valid original receipt or digital proof of purchase issued by iSmart Lebanon must accompany the claim. Please do not return products directly to the original manufacturer.

3. Non-Returnable and Exempt Items

Certain categories of products are strictly exempt from being returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances:

  Physical or scratched software license cards.

  Digital license keys, activation tokens, and digital gift cards.

  Downloadable software applications and virtual products.

  Regulated health, hygiene, and personal care tech items.

4. Specialized Software & License Key Activation Windows

To protect system integrity, specific technical boundaries apply to software and digital licensing architectures:

 Immediate Validation: All Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, or associated paid software licenses must be validated and activated on the exact day of purchase.

 Physical Scratch Cards: Any hardware or software activation key tied to a physical scratch-off surface must be verified and validated on the same day the protective film is removed.

 Standard License Windows: Both online and offline operational keys must be fully activated within a maximum threshold of 30 calendar days post-purchase. Failure to do so voids any internal corporate support guarantees.

5. Storage Media & Data Loss Disclaimer

 ⚠️ Critical Data Notice

Buyers, enterprise partners, and clients must be explicitly aware that iSmart Lebanon, its parent establishment, corporate entities, and staff are not legally, ethically, or financially liable for any accidental data corruption, loss, or leakage during or following technical maintenance, network diagnostics, or hardware testing of desktops, laptops, or storage media of any kind (HDDs, SSDs, Flash Memory).

While our technical engineers take all standard operational precautions to safeguard storage arrays, the ultimate responsibility for data redundancy and secure backup remains exclusively with the client.


6. The Refund Process

 A. Inspection and Approval

Upon receipt of your returned asset at our central warehouse, our technical team will execute an inspection protocol. We will issue an email communication notifying you of the arrival of the unit and the subsequent approval or rejection of your refund claim based on compliance with Section 2.

 B. Reimbursement Issuance

Approved claims will be processed immediately. Financial credits will automatically be routed back to your credit card or your original method of hardware payment (processed in the original transaction currency, whether USD or LBP). Processing timelines remain subject to the clearing procedures of local banking institutions.

 C. Late or Missing Refunds

If a cleared credit has not registered within your account infrastructure after a reasonable timeframe:

 1. Verify the balance matrices with your personal banking institution.

 2. Contact your credit card issuer, as processing delays often occur prior to formal public posting.

7. Promotional and Sale Items

Only standard, regularly priced merchandise may be considered for return or refund. Items purchased under promotional campaigns, seasonal discounts, or marked as "Sale" are final and cannot be refunded.

8. Logistics and Shipping Procedures

 Return Address: To return an approved product, please courier the package directly to our main hub: iSmart Lebanon HQ, Nabatieh, Lebanon.

 Shipping Costs: The buyer assumes all financial responsibility for shipping fees associated with returning an item. Shipping fees are entirely non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the real cost of return logistics will be deducted from your final refund amount.

 Risk Mitigation: iSmart Lebanon cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned parcel. For high-value enterprise networking equipment or smart systems, we highly recommend utilizing a trackable courier service or securing independent third-party shipping insurance.
